Google Analytics Is Not Ready

It's been almost 20 days since I post about Google Analitycs not taking any new sign-ups. As it seems they haven't been able to solve all problems to catter the huge demand.

This is what it reads on the Google Analytics Status Update page:

5 December 2005

Over the past couple of weeks, our team has been working hard to add additional capacity to handle the extraordinarily strong demand for Google Analytics. Due to the huge demand, we had to temporarily disable new signups and halt the adding of additional profiles for our current users. We also know that many of our current users experienced delays in their reporting data, which has improved since we added more capacity last week.

I also know for fact that they took some functionality away of previous Urchin versions and there must be many people angry about this out there. I've played with it with a customers' account so I know what I'm missing anyway. The thing is, I'm still waiting to be notified.

From Google Analytics sign-up page as of today:

Google Analytics has experienced extremely strong demand, and as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your name and email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience.

That last sentence is quite what this is all about. ;)
