It took me a while to figure out my way online to start the learning curve again. Go figure, even
Scott Mitchell
felt this is overwhelming. If I didn't feel cutting edge before, now I'm
feeling that I have to learn how to program *again*. But may be it
would clear up in a few days.
The famous
QuickStart Tutorial
are published since the Beta. I don't know how different they are to
the final QuickStart that comes with the .NET Framework 2.0 but I guess
little if none.
There is a
Guided Tour to Visual Web Developer 2005 Express.
I wonder what is the real difference between Visual Web Developer 2005
Express and Visual Studio 2005. Would it help in any way to follow the
Guided Tour if working with VS.NET 2005? Would it help to be ahead of
time when migrating from VWD 2005 to VS.NET 2005? May be someone could
clarify.
There is a
learning resources page for Visual Web Developer Express with a video series. Then you have the
Visual Studio learning page. And the
Visual Studio Team System learning page.
You can also take some
free .NET Framework 2.0 e-learning courses with this special offer from
https://www.microsoftlearning.com.
And I think the
ASP.NET JumpStart: Introduction to the Media Share Libary Starter Kit would be the most beneficial to catch up on ASP.NET 2.0.
That seems like lot's of reading and practice coding to do!
Edit: I forgot the
learn ASP.NET page on the
ASP.NET Development Center.
